From my stint with various press, media and publication houses as an editor, writer and linguist for over two decades, I have known that more than just a constellation of words or merely a system of communication, language is the basis of all human thoughts and activities, including inter alia culture, art, empathy, and human relations.
In an increasingly globalised world, there is always a growing need for efficient, transcultural communication to ensure that one is not left unheard or misunderstood. With a sense of urgency towards building a more connected and inclusive world, and banking on my knowledge, experience and skills that I acquired through my rigorous intellectual journey, I established Bhashawala in 2015 to serve the intellectual and linguistic world, foster knowledge and understanding by combining intellectual labour with cultural nuance, and thus make communication easy and accessible for everyone.
When I started Bhashawala, I also foresaw a future where language barriers could be mitigated through collective human intelligence and technology. Today, we are proud to combine cutting-edge AI with a vast network of professional and native linguists to deliver high-quality translation, localisation, data and other linguistic services to our clients.
